Simply Knitting magazine are running a sock knitting competition to knit a pair of socks for a celebrity. I know who I'm knitting for and I have a design in mind, but apart from saying the socks will have a red and white theme, that's all I'm saying. Don't want anyone pinching my idea which I think is a corker!

Good luck with that "not buying an more yarn until all ongoing and planned projects are finished." It's common knowledge that once you have established a stash, it just multiplies all on its own--no one knows how! ;) Except you find yourself inexplicably drawn to the beautiful yarn over there--oh, and there's another one--and look at that one over there...
