I want doesn't get!

I want to KNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!

I haven't really been that bothered for the last few weeks, but all of a sudden I want to knit, badly. I want something to do while I'm watching TV. I want the satisfaction of making something with my own hands and wearing it. I want to buy lovely yarn but I can't justify buying it if I can't do anything with it. My two boxes of yarn sit mocking me in the corner of the spare bedroom. The cats on my knitting bag are grinning at me maliciously.

How much longer am I going to have to wait????????? Sigh!!!

Oooo, gotta tell you this! Spoke to my mum yesterday and she told me that when I'd been writing the entry about our adventure on the rocks in Cornwall, they had been out with friends telling them exactly the same story, at almost exactly the same time. She said they hadn't even thought about what happened for years. Spooky!!! (Cue doo-doo doo-doo music!!)

It's no good, I'm trying to write an email because I'm not supposed to be a 'blogger' any more but I can't remember all the stuff that you've posted about so you're going to get comments still! My poor little brain only does info in small chunks so it's easier this way :)

I want you to knit too! I do hope it's sorted out soon, I am very hopeful that you will be all mended so you must try to be zen right now! ;)

That is spooky about you and mum. Me and Mini-Me are psychic too sometimes.

Really hope you can knit again soon!

Oh, I love your description! I think that's how I would feel.

There definitely must be something creative you can do that will be easy on you until your hand is healed...we'll have to look into that!

You and your mum must really be in tune. I love moments like that. And we already know you love spooky stuff--those books you're reading! :)

I honestly can't imagine how horrible it is to not be able to knit when you want to.

I dunno what to say, other than, it will still all be there to knit when your blinking thumb is sorted. It will happen, if you trust in modern medicine!

Take care. x
