Today I go back to the real world. I have to stop slacking off and thinking I am a "writer" and pull my finger out at the office. But first a couple of statistics.
Out of 119,390 NaNoWriMo participants, 17.9% passed the finishing line.
There are now 21,400 first draft novels in the world which didn't exist 30 days ago.
A total of 1,429,996,336 words were written in the month of November.
Phew.

Amazing statistics. I wonder how many of these will make it to a second draft or further.
