Felted ruffle bag

Before and after felting pics of a little pink ruffle bag I made yesterday. It is for my neighbour's little girl. Her birthday isn't until July but I thought I would get it done in plenty of time. As it was, it only took me a few hours while the FA Cup was on yesterday. The pattern is here
and I used the Splash Aran yarn that I got from Stash a few weeks ago. I stuck a milk bottle in it when it came out of the machine, and it was the perfect size. I was wondering whether to knit a little flower to go on it? Any thoughts? Or just leave it as it is.

Definitely add a flower! That's realllly cute.

How did your hand feel? See, if you drank, you would at least have to take breaks to slug one down every so often. Especially during a game! ;)

That's so pretty!

I'd definitely add the flower, as it's for a little girl :)

It's sweet :) I guess as it's for a little girl it needs a flower, although I like it without.

Very pretty bag, a flower might be nice too!

I love that pattern, and your bag is beautiful. I think a little flower would be great.

The "little" flower didn't quite turn out that way. It is the same size as the width of the bag!!! Back to the drawing board!! Will post a pic in the next blog entry.

Your bag is supercute, with or without a flower. Thanks for the lovely comment of the finished bolero. Glad you like the top too! I bought it to go with the bolero, back before I knitted it and when I was still in love with it. And I'm glad your FIL is doing ok - that must have been a pretty worrying time.
