Maybe if the lace panel was positioned higher?

Your photographer does nice work, too. :~)Ninahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03345110886898577933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20771960.post-59719646673937665402009-08-06T10:55:48.306+01:002009-08-06T10:55:48.306+01:00Great FOs, I really love the vest/jumper :-)Great FOs, I really love the vest/jumper :-)dreamcatcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06512623516755804881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20771960.post-57184324472584993782009-08-06T09:21:33.583+01:002009-08-06T09:21:33.583+01:00Hello there. Really interesting details.
A word of caution about the cardigan design. I started knitting this some time ago. It is a really nice design idea, but what put me off was the fact that the button border and buttonhole borders are knitted at the same time as the main body of the design. This sounds great, but I found the buttonholes coming out really huge when I knitted it up. Could I suggest either reinforcing the buttonholes with handstitching when the knitting is completed or finding some other method of fastening the cardigan.
In the end it put me off so much that I decided to rip the entire thing back. I used the yarn to knit my red aran cardigan to a Sirdar design. I shall go back to the Drops design, but will probably modify the front bands.Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09899092307625094978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20771960.post-18233764739230145372009-08-06T05:51:46.846+01:002009-08-06T05:51:46.846+01:00Very cute knits - I can imagine that vest would be...Very cute knits - I can imagine that vest would be so snuggly - something nice to look forward to in winter :)

Oh and entrelac made no sense to me either to start with, I blindly followed the instructions and it worked! One of those things that looks way harder than it is really.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00149251009285628796noreply@blogger.com
